Create Analytical Instruments Made Its Debut at the 2025 Bio-Diesel Ship Fuel Application Conference, Assisting in the Detection of Kitchen Waste Oil and Promoting Industry Sustainability

On September 16, 2025, the "2025 Bio-Diesel Ship Fuel Application and Market Prospects for Kitchen Waste Oil Conference" was grandly held in Wenzhou. This conference focused on the development of bio-diesel industries under the background of global shipping emission reduction, and centered on core issues such as raw material supply, quality control, and carbon value realization. It brought together enterprises from the upstream and downstream of the industry, experts, scholars, and institution representatives to jointly discuss industry challenges and innovative paths. Create Analytical Instruments, as an outstanding enterprise in the field of analysis and detection, showcased its ICP-OES Analyzer and X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer at this conference, providing the industry with high-precision and high-efficiency oil product detection solutions. 




With the increasingly strict carbon emission reduction requirements imposed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the European Union's Emissions Trading System (ETS) on the shipping industry, biodiesel, especially ester-based biodiesel, has witnessed significant development opportunities. However, raw material supply has become a key bottleneck restricting the industry's development. Affected by the expansion of the sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) industry, the prices of cooking waste oil (grease, acidified oil, etc.) have remained at a high level, with problems such as inconsistent quality and difficulty in source traceability becoming increasingly prominent, seriously affecting the stability and economy of biodiesel production. 

In this context, establishing a reliable quality inspection and traceability system has become a core link for ensuring the controllable and sustainable nature of the raw material supply chain. GLMY Create Analytical Instruments showcased the application of ICP-OES and XRF in the detection of components of kitchen waste oil and biodiesel at the conference site. The ICP spectrometer can accurately detect metal elements (such as Na, K, Ca, Mg, etc.) and harmful heavy metal contents in the oil, effectively assessing the purity of the raw materials and their processing suitability; the X-ray fluorescence spectrometer is suitable for rapid screening of key elements such as sulfur and phosphorus, providing a reliable basis for quality control during the production process and compliance judgment of the finished products. 


During the seminar, Create Analytical Instruments’team had in-depth exchanges with several biodiesel production enterprises, waste oil recycling enterprises, and industry experts. They demonstrated how to achieve raw material classification, process optimization, and emission control through high-precision detection methods, thereby enhancing the transparency and economic efficiency of the entire industrial chain. Many participants at the event stated that in a market environment where raw material prices are high and the value of carbon attributes has not yet been fully realized, improving supply chain management efficiency through detection technology has become an important path for enterprises to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
