The 13th Refractory Materials Trade Fair in 2025 grandly kicked off. Create Analytical Instrument, with its spectrometer, empowers the industry's upgrade
From June 26th to 27th, 2025, the 13th Refractory Materials Trade Fair was grandly held in Xinmi, Henan Province. This exhibition has brought together over 300 upstream and downstream enterprises, research institutions and industry experts in refractory materials from across the country, setting a new historical record for the scale of participation. At the conference site, the crowd was bustling. Technical exchanges, product demonstrations, business negotiations and other activities were held one after another. The booth of GLMY Create Analytical Instrument was especially crowded. The three spectrometers in front of the booth became the focus of the entire event with their innovative technologies and on-site test demonstrations.
The conference site: A feast of technology and industrial collaboration dance together
At the conference site, various exhibitors showcased their "signature skills" one after another. From the new refractory brick production line to the intelligent kiln control system, from environmentally friendly binders to the preparation technology of nano-scale raw materials, the cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements are dazzling. In the main forum area, experts from the China Refractory Materials Industry Association engaged in in-depth discussions on "Industry Transformation under the dual Carbon Goals", and representatives from several enterprises shared practical cases of intelligent transformation and green production. Meanwhile, supporting activities such as supply and demand matching meetings and technology release conferences were held simultaneously. Participants moved among the various booths, either stopping to watch equipment demonstrations or engaging in lively exchanges with technicians. The atmosphere on the spot was extremely lively.
Create Analytical Instrument: Precise detection helps improve the quality of refractory materials
At the Create Analytical Instrument booth, the on-site tests of three spectrometers became a highlight. The ICP spectrometer made its debut as a "precise catcher of trace components", demonstrating its outstanding performance in PPM-level elemental analysis by simulating the composition detection of magnesia-carbon bricks used in steelmaking. This equipment can quickly identify harmful impurities (such as sulfur and phosphorus) in refractory materials, helping enterprises optimize raw material ratios and enhance the corrosion resistance of their products.
The desktop X-ray fluorescence spectrometer made its appearance as an "efficient quality inspection tool", demonstrating on the spot the rapid component screening from raw materials to finished products. In the production case of silica bricks, the equipment completed the quantitative analysis of main components such as SiO? and Al?O? in just 30 seconds, with an accuracy error of less than 0.5%. This technology can significantly shorten the quality inspection cycle and reduce the production rework rate caused by component fluctuations.
The portability of handheld spectrometers is equally remarkable. Technicians demonstrated the entire process of rapidly detecting the carbon content of refractory bricks in a simulated on-site scenario. It only takes a few seconds for the device to output precise data, helping enterprises monitor the performance degradation of materials in real time. This technology can be applied to the life assessment of blast furnace linings, avoiding unplanned shutdowns caused by refractory material failures, and achieving significant economic benefits.
Technology leads the future and innovation drives development
During the conference, the team of Create Analytical Instrument deeply interpreted the application value of spectral analysis technology in the refractory materials industry through case sharing, interactive Q&A and other forms. The attending guests unanimously agreed that the innovative detection solution of Create Analytical Instrument not only addresses the pain points of traditional quality inspection such as low efficiency and poor accuracy, but also provides key support for the intelligent upgrade of the industry. In the future, Create Analytical Instrument will continue to focus on the field of refractory material testing, promote high-quality industrial development through technological innovation, and help Chinese refractory materials gain an edge in global competition.
